According to the Public Relations Department of the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) citing the Iran News Agency, Sayyaed Mohammad Hadi Ayazi said: absorption of domestic and foreign investments and directing them to the establishment of trade, sports and recreational centers is actually another form of public participation in the areas and issues related to urban development. Hence, Tehran municipality has placed this policy very high on its agenda".
Referring to trade, service and sports centers as the foremost feature of megacities, Mr. Ayazi noted: "without them megacities will be meaningless and the urban mangers in the world are paying significant  attention to all-out and sustainable development, and projects which will result in the construction of such centers".
The necessity of developing trade, recreational and sports spaces
"Tehran as a huge metropolis is no exception and we are now witnessing more and more of these centers in this city. We also hope that the ground will be further paved for the construction and various centers with varied functions will be established in the city to serve the needs of the citizens in a way that is as efficient as possible and saves their time", continued  The Deputy for social and cultural affairs of Tehran municipality.
Referring to the proper position of the Tehran Bazaar Center he added: "this project has become operational in the best spot located in the north west of Tehran and covers an area of 190 square meters and will be a residential, trade, and recreational center".
Mr. Ayazi reiterated that "this center is located in an area which is very close to residential condominiums with a population of over 500 thousand people. We do believe that the center has what it takes to become one of the most important trade hubs in Tehran".

One thousand and one nights, Abnous, Kan and Chitgar lake projects
According to Mr. Ayazi Tehran municipality is already involved in a huge projects worth 23 thousand billion tomans which have proved to be very lucrative. Some of these projects include the One thousand and one nights, Abnous, Kan and Chitgar Lake which aim to develop the North West areas of Tehran.
He also said that the Tehran municipality has dedicated 4000 square meters to the aforementioned projects which will be used for construction of a multi-story parking lot, movie theaters and cultural, arts and trade centers.
