According to the Public Relations Department of the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI), in order to look into the foreign investment opportunities in Iran’s chain stores, a meeting was held with the attendance of Saman Ghasemi the Director General for foreign Investments of OIETAI and a potential foreign investor.

Referring to Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPPA), Mr. Ghassemi said that it is one of the most progressive laws of its kind in the world which has many advantages and benefits such as the possibility of foreign investors to invest in all economic fields without any limitation, equal and non-discriminatory treatments, and guarantees for the transfer of the capital, profits and proceeds.

He went on to say: “our past experiences as well as the figures and numbers at hand showing how much investment has been absorbed by Iran, clearly indicate that foreign investors view Iran as an exceptional investment opportunity”.

The manager of the foreign company that is willing to invest in Iran voiced his delight and happiness over his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran to establish a chain store here and emphasized: “our company has been present in many countries. Our company is also one of the largest shopping centers with all the recreational and side facilities including movie theaters and hypermarket and has created jobs for more than 6000 people.

He added: “our company is active in countries like Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, China, Russia and is eyeing the investment opportunities in Iran, Ukraine, Oman, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, South Africa, and the Middle East in order to expand the market for its products”.
 

The manager of the foreign investor company concluded his remarks by saying that his company’s activities are concentrated on designing, developing and making investments to build shopping and recreational centers and expressed hope that it will be able to offer high-quality services to Iranians and create jobs and meet the demands of the Iranian  market in various areas.
