Islamic Republic of Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar along with the Governors General of Fars, Bushehr, Khuzestan and Mazandaran provinces visited several investor Qatari companies on Tuesday.
 
According the Public Relations Department of the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) the Iranian Student's News Agency (ISNA) cited Mr. Najjar as saying:" we support the investments made by Qatari investors in Iran. There are many opportunities for investment here which don’t exist in other countries and this is a great advantage that Qatar investors may very well utilize".

Mr. Najjar reiterated: "Iran and Qatar enjoy good relations and are neighbors and this makes it ideal for Qatari investors to invest in Iran".

The Governors General, who accompanied the Interior Minister in his visit to Qatar, voiced their preparedness to support Qatari investors.

In the visit, the managing directors of Qatari companies described their activities in various countries and voiced their readiness to make investments in areas related to constructing hotels, tourist complexes, as well as in Iranian industries and agriculture.
